It’s likely this is your first time hiring a wedding planner, so it is understandable that you may have a lot of questions. A planner’s role is to be your expert guide, answering your questions, providing insight and resources every step of the way. Below, please find some answers to some frequently asked questions.

  • Absolutely not! Hiring a planner before you find your venue is the best first step. I can then help guide you to the best venue options based on your top priorities, guest size and budget.

  • Heather Hoesch Events is based in Costa Mesa, CA and we regularly work all over California - especially Orange County, Ojai, Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez, Napa, Healdsburg, Beverly Hills, & San Diego. In my 20+ years, I have worked in Hawaii, Mexico, Colorado, New York and am happy to go to the destination of your choice.

  • I am honored to work with just 6-8 couples each year to ensure each and every couple is supported and gets the time necessary for a smooth planning process and incredible wedding weekend.

  • We start with an initial consultation to get to know each other and learn more about your wedding ideas and plans. Based on that, I will craft a custom proposal based on the services discussed. If the proposal is approved, a signature along with the initial deposit is required to start planning.

  • I, (Heather), will be your lead planner and main point of contact. However, I have the support of a virtual assistant during planning and associate planners on event days.
